Today I received my items back signed, including the following hand written note on Ms. Jeffreys' personal note card: Dear Gordon, You enclosed a Topper photo I have not seen. I hope you don't mind - but I've kept it and substituted another. This one is signed by Robert before he passed away. So it is very special. I signed for Niel! All my best for you and your collection. Anne Jeffreys Topper was a TV sitcom Ms. Jeffreys and her husband Robert Sterling did in 1953-1955. Mr. Sterling passed away May 30, 2006. Niel was the dog in the show. My humble thanks to Ms. Jeffreys for her immense generosity. Thank you, ME. |
