Meet "THE BROTHERS", Jackson (Morris Chesnut- Like Mike, The Best Man, Two Can Play That Game) a successful pediatrician who has a big fear of commitment, Derrick (D. L. Hughley- The Original Kings of Comedy, TV's The Hughleys) a successful businessman who is having marriage problems with his wife, Brian (Bill Bellamy- How to Be A Player, Love Stinks, TV's Fast Lane) a womanizer who has problems with black woman, so he decides to date a white woman, and Terry (Shemar Moore- Butter, TV's Soul Food and The Young and the Restless) another womanizer who decides he wants to settle down and become a married Man.

Then there's the "SISTERS", Shelia (Tamala Jones- Two Can Play That Game, Booty Call, Next Friday) the wife of Derrick, Louise (Jennifer Lewis- Jackie's Back, Cast Away, Mystery Men) the mother of Jackson, and Denise (Gabrielle Union- Two Can Play That Game, Bring it On, Love & Basketball) the new girlfriend of Jackson and former lover of his father.

In a meeting between the "SISTERS" Louise tells the girls how to tell if your man, really loves you and that's if he gives you the last peice to food. And later that same night Jackson eats the last peice of food and leaves Denise wondering if they are happy together.

Through thick and thin the Brothers have always been there for each other, but things are about to change when Terry announces that he's getting engaged. Brian vows that he will never walk down to aisle, and Jackson has a fear of commitment so they disagree with his decision but love him anyway.

They all seemed to have everything going for them, until things begin to go downhill for each of them.

Jackson learns that his new love Denise used to date his father, and decides to break it off with her and stops talking with his father, and goes through a crisis when his mother decides she wants to get back together with her ex-boyfriend.

In Derrick's life, when Sheila decides not to furfil his sexual desires he decides he wants to get his mother out of a nursing home and let her live with them causing problems. And when the have reccuring fights about sex the two decide they need a divorce.

Brian has problens in both his love life and personal life. After a series of failed romances, he decides he wants to get himself a white woman (Julie Benz- Jawbreaker, Shriek, TV's Angel) and does. And in his personal life his mother and him constantly have problems and fights, that they decide not to speak with each other.

And in Terry's life, he makes the biggest mistake in his wife when the night before his wedding, he calls it off forcing his fiance Bebe to get a gun abd go on a rampage, until she is calmed down by Jackson.

In the end, Derrick and his wife learn that they need to be together and she finally furfills his fantasy. Derrick decides he wants to date a black woman, and works things out with his mother. Terry and Bebe resolve their problem and become friends, Jackson's mother and father get back together, and after a brief meeting Jackson shares his last piece of food with Denise and the two get back together.

The DVD has plenty of special features including interactive menus, 4 deleted scenes with optional director commentary, scene access, director's commentary, Eric Benet music video, exclusive featurette, filmographies, and theatrical trailors for "THE BROTHERS", "TROIS", "MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING", "THE WEDDING PLANNER", "JOHN CARPENTER'S GHOSTS OF MARS", and "THE BROKEN HEARTS CLUB: A ROMANTIC COMEDY".

The film is a great look at the relationships between black and white. The relationships and chemistry between the actors is great and the music fits the film well. Morris Chesnut and Gabrielle Union give great performances and work well together as in "TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME". The funniest out of the group is D.L. Hughley who delivers a nice performance. Out of a possible four stars I give the movie a well-deserved 3 and 1/2 stars.
