Critic's Grade: A

This a hilarious romantic comedy that is very funny and entertaining. Prinze, and Potter are well together and make a cute on-screen couple.
Meet Amanda Pierce (Monica Potter- Along Came A Spider), she's smart, beautiful and doesn't know how to choose the right men. Relationship after relationship she always ends up getting cheated on (sometimes with the same sex) or dumped for various reasons. She thought she had found Mr. Right until she comes home early and catches him in bed with another woman. Decideing to find a new apartment she goes house hunting and that's when she meets him, Jim Winston (Freddie Prinze, Jr.,- Scooby-Doo, I Know What You Did Last Summer). It was love at first sight and she can tell. Her rule is you can tell when your love, because you get weak in the knees. With Jim it happened in an instant, but was ruined when his dog knocked her down and began humping her in the butt. When the dog attackes another woman, they say goodbye and walk away.

While looking for her new home she comes across an ad for an apartment and accepts it. It's only $500 for a great apartment, nice neighbor, cool roomates, and she lives across the street from Jim. The bad news, her four roomates are struggling models. They don't interest model in the begining because they only accept relationships based on money and clothes, and they're not interested in her field of work, When they go out to eat, she gets to know the girls and they become instant friends. When the girls decide to go to a party hosted by Jim, Amanda gets dolled up and goes to surprise. When the two begin talking they realize how much they have in common, and how they're perfect for each other. Later that same night, Amanda sees something totally shocking and unexpected. She sees Jim murder a beautiful young woman and calls the police.

When he is released from jail, she and her new roomates go to extreme measures to prove that Jim is a killer. From getting the locker code to his storage, to following him every night, to sneaking into his apartment. For her she's having fun, but for her roomies they have the bad time. From getting stuck in a bathroom, when the waste come back up, to having to ride a dredful Subway train to getting locked in another bathroom, while Him does the number 2.

In the end, it's just like any other romantic comedy where the two stars break-up and get back together. The film is a hilarious look, at how love gets in the way and the three old woman in the film are hilarious. The women who portrayed the models were hilarious, and worked well together. I loved the movie and anyone who wants to see an entertaining romantic comedy, this is the movie for you. A character in the film that I think doesn't really need to be there is the lesbian friend of Amanda's. The actress is China Chow and her character isn't really neccessary to the story line, but overall is an excellent film
