My heart is still racing! What an action flick! Non stop from the very beginning. Some of it may have seemed a little unrealistic, like the snowboarding scene but it was still fun to watch...and I'm not even an extreme sports fan. Well now I am. Vin Diesel takes the action film world by storm with his take on mission impossible. In a season full of spy movies this one seems to have topped them all with it's macho/bad boy leading man, big guns, high techery, explosions, lust, and an unbelievably heart pounding soundtrack. Lethal Weapon 2 and Face/Off used to have the best opening scenes to a movie, but this one blows them all away by far. Vin Diesel plays Xander Cage, an adrenaline junkie who uses his athleticisim to state his case on politcal issues and all things orderly. Samuel L. Jackson plays the NSA agent who decides to recruit Vin Diesel and throws him into the mix right away. Asia Argento (Les Miserables, Scarlet Diva) plays the Russian bad girl who helps run the undercover Crew Anarchy 99 led by Yorgi effectively played by Marton Csokas (Rain, The Monkey's Mask). The City of Prague, a longtime backdrop for spy films looks beautiful and mysterious all at once. That's what earns it four and a half beers. It's such a gothic looking city, it can make the worst film into the best flick made in years. But this is not the case. This film is good wherever it is shot. They could have used Philadelphia for the city and Vermont for the mountains and the thriller would have been just as effective. But...there's something about Prague.... Could there be another city more intriguing than New York? Naaaaaaa. But then again,

That's just my opinion.
