Critic's Grade: A+

A poor exscuse for a sequel to an equally horrible film.

Famed serial killer and pervert Patrick Bateman is dead. His body is dead, but his deadly legacy lives on in a new girl. Her name is Rachael Newman (Mila Kunis- Get Over It, TV's That 70's Show). Rachael never had an easy life. On an average night as a child her babysitter took her on a date, and the guest was Bateman. After he successfully killing his victim, Bateman is later killed by Rachael and manages to escape. She never told anyone about that night and has no regrets about her decesion.

Now in college, Rachael seems to have a new life but she wasn't left unscared. When her college professor (William Shatner) announces he is looking for a new assistant Rachael jumps at the chance to become the assistant. Her competition is three other classmates who each has there own flaw, and are high at ranking #1. But she learns her chances has become slim, so what does she do? Kill the competition. One by one she begins murdering her classmates and the new "American Psycho" has arrived.

The tag line for this film says "Angrier, Deadlier, Sexier" but they were really wrong. This was absolutely one of the worst sequels and movies ever to be created. I admit I knew it wasn't going to be the greatest but I expected better than this. Kunis who usually is in supporting comedic roles has become the main attraction and leading actress in this film. She seems to have good acting abilites but wasted them on this film.

The film is supposed to be scary, but you see no real blood and the creativety of the deaths is horrible. Within the first 35 minutes, Rachael has already killed 5 people and they are her main competitors. The scenes show Rachael holding a deadly object up then goes to a white screen and the person is already dead. Her victims death have already been done and seem recycled a bunch of times. She kills a classmate with a condom (which is new).

She also stabs a friend with an ice pick (Fatal Attraction), hangs another (Urban Legend), pushes one out of the window (Urban Legend), and other stupid ways. The movie is very predictable and has plenty of holes in the plot. The music that is supposed to be scary sounds more like something used in clown and circus shows.

This is just a boreing film, and you just want to see better.

Out of a possible 4 stars, this film deserves a bad 1 star.
